Day 1:  KIGALI (CITY TOUR-KIGALI MEMORIAL/ INEMA ARTS/LOCAL MARKET)

After early breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and settle all extras. 09h30: Proceed on a city tour that will include the Kigali Genocide memorial and The Inema arts gallery. Highlight; Perhaps the city’s best known landmark, and with good reason, is the very insightful and moving Kigali Genocide Memorial standing amid beautiful rose gardens and fountains. The memorial sets out the history leading up to the genocide in Rwanda and also explains other genocides around the world. It includes poignant displays of victims’ photographs and belongings, bringing the realities of the atrocities to life. While it might seem an unusual tourist attraction and can be upsetting, it does help to put into context how and why the genocide happened and to better appreciate just how far the country has moved on together in the intervening years. It also plays a vital role in educating Rwanda’s new and future generations about the genocide.

Founded in 2012 by brothers and self-taught painters Emmanuel Nkuranga and Innocent Nkurunziza, Inema Arts Center spurs creativity for personal, social, and economic growth. Nkurunziza and Nkuranga started Inema to tap the untapped potential of art in Rwanda. Their objective is to use creative expression to bring the community and country alive. To provide exposure to creative people and create opportunities for Rwanda’s most underserved to use creativity for a productive livelihood.

Day 2:  NYUNGWE Colobus Trek

Today tack the Colobus Monkeys in Nyungwe. Embrace the home of East Africa’s most diverse primate population, as you track the Colobus monkeys through Nyungwe’s lush forest trails. Most active and visible in the early morning, an early rise is required for maximum viewing opportunity, and a beautifully prepared breakfast will be enjoyed ‘on the go’. We’ll take you to the only location in Africa where you can encounter Colobus monkeys, and one of the few places on the planet where L’Hoests’s monkeys can be seen. So keep your eyes peeled and prepare to be surprised at every turn by the sights and sounds of our jungle filled with life.  Evening at leisure. Day 3:  CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & CANOPY WALK  

Today at 05h00 you will get your packed breakfast and  drive to the park headquarters for chimpanzee trek briefing and formalities and then to the evergreen forest for a great experience that starts at 06h00. You may spot a wide variety of bird life. Their playfulness and human – like characteristics make the long day worthwhile. Luckily you may be welcomed by chimp morning calls deep in the forest upon encountering the chimps, you will be allowed to stay in their presence for one hour as you enjoy their acrobats, feeding life and their day today behaviors. Return to the lodge at around 12h00 for lunch. 14h00:

Afternoon transfer to the park headquarters for Canopy walk briefing. Your guided canopy walk will start at 15h00.

The Canopy walkway consists of three bridges and three towers and is a total length of the walkway is 200m. The walkway is embedded in a guided tour along Igishigishigi Trail. Taking this tour, a specialized Park Guide will not only show you the forest canopy but also explain why it is an integral part of the tropical rainforest ecosystem. You will learn what the major characteristics of a rainforest and its canopy are and the importance Nyungwe Forest has for Rwanda. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at

Day 4: Nyungwe Forest National Park –Kigali Out (Drive Time +6hrs)
